Wow, today was a really, really long day for me. My brother's car was getting fixed, so he used mine, and my mom had to drive me to school. I started out with economics, where we just talked about stuff the whole time, barely anyone was there, and there was little point to being there. Then, I screwed around for an hour, I think I went to the computer lab, then it was time for Speech 200. I had a test there, and I'd probably studied about 20 minutes worth since the last exam, but that was more than enough. This test was a joke, and I think less than 5 people should get below a B, just like last time, since this one was at least as easy. A lot of the questions were so pathetic, that I admit I couldn't stop laughing.
After I was done with this, I had 2 hours and 40 minutes before I had to go to this thing with the other math tutors, so I wasted a bunch more time. When I had about 40 minutes left, a girl asked me to go to this thing, I don't remember what it was called, but I headed over there. It cost me $2 to get in, but that didn't stop me. I was in one of the videos they showed there, from the first time I saw the free hugs people at my school. I didn't take very many cookies or soda, since I wanted the pizza and soda at the math lab, which I would soon be at. Dang, I was in for an unpleasant surprise.
When I got to the math lab, only about 8 other math tutors were there, even though this was mandatory. Not only did they not have soda, but they only had pizzas with toppings I couldn't stand, so I took nothing. After Rose was done talking to us about stuff, she showed us over to where the math lab is going to be next quarter, and it looked like the most beautiful and new place I'd ever seen.
After that, I went back over to the place with the videos, and they let me back in, and I took about a dozen cookies, and a can of soda. I had barely brought a lunch, since I was planning on the pizza, so I had to make due. The next thing I had to go to was supposed to start 30 minutes after the math thing ended, but I didn't pay much attention to the fact that it got over about 45 minutes early, so I staying in the video room until the next half-hour after I got there, then left, only to realize I was way early.
As part of waiting for the other tutoring thing to start, I went over to the arcade. There was someone who needed three more dollars to trade in for a roll of quarters, since neither change machine was working, so I gave him $3, and walked over to the person with him, to make sure he wouldn't just walk away with it, and got the roll of quarters, and he gave me my $3 worth back. Then, I talked with some of my friends until it was time for the second tutoring thing.
When I got there, I had no idea what to do, and it took me a while to find out what room it was really in, since it wasn't the room I was originally told. I didn't have to go to this. When I got there, someone asked me if I was ready to present. This worried me, but someone told me that the people that didn't have to be there weren't presenting. After all this, we went back to the room I was told this would be in, and they gave us 11 more boxes of pizza I wouldn't touch. I took another cookie and a brownie. I got my certificate for completing training, and left, since they only thing left was to show us where the tutoring labs would be next quarter, which I'd already seen.
However, I was still too early for when my mom was going to pick me up, dang not getting to drive myself can be a pain, so I walked around a bit. I found another tutor that was lost, and trying to find where everyone had gone to where the new tutoring labs were, so I walked her there, and then it was finally time for me to go.
