Strange Phone Calls

This is very serious. Has anyone gotten any strange phone calls? Be serious. I have. This person was calling from the number 0123456789. He asked for Homer Simpson, and then hung up. Tell me about your weird phone calls!!! Be sure to include:

How about we don't reveal people's personal information on a public forum without their consent, mmkay?
Who they asked for, what they wanted.

And if you were the one making prank phone calls, be sure to include what you did!

Ok if the number is showing up as 0123456789 that means they are calling from a cocmputer program called skype. Its a free internet phone and can also be used to chat and cam with friends.

I called up the house of a guy whom my friend hated whenever I was thirteen. He said that their answering machine sounded like it said "Jehova-hova's Witness!" Sure enough, it did, but not feeling satisfied, I left the message "Hallo, I am Mircea, from Russia, and I will rape your children."

A few minutes later the dorm phone rang, so I picked it up since I'm an idiot and answered with the voice and name of our hall director. She said she received a prank call and I told her to stop menacing the kids here. So, she said if she got another call like that she'd file for harassment, then we hung up.

Some guy just started cursing at me when I answered the phone and hung up. This kept happening till my family changed the phone number.

Wendy's can't seem to figure this out. They've been calling each other every once in awhile in 3-4 way calls.

I get about 10 calls a day from north carolina, but I never answer.
My mom answered the first time they called, and they asked for the person that lived in my house 6 years ago.

I once got a HORRIBLY executed prank call. The guy on the other end kept on giggling in a high-pitched voice (along with a horrible attempt to stifle the giggle), and he made himself extremely obvious. I even knew who he was by listening to his voice. After a while I just stopped talking and listened to him fluster for words to try to save his sorry-ass prank, then I hung up and burst out laughing. I believe it was/is the only prank call I've ever had. No strange unidentified calls either. I guess keeping your phone number to yourself isn't a bad thing.
Oh...telemarketers by the DOZEN though.

PS-The prank was about finding pictures of pornography and a bunch of phone numbers in a wallet or something like that. It was really stupid.

My best prank is probably calling people either by cellphone or computer after I've gotten their full name and area (which you can usually get by area code) and convincing them they signed up for real estate information and that I'm promising an excellent parcel deal on Florida property that will guarantee a return upon the initial investment. When I tell him I'm transferring him to my secretary to get the information, I usually hang up.

Sometimes they get PUMPED.
