    WORST TOURNAMENT EVER

    so at my school they were hosting a ddr tourny. at went to go check it out and found that NOBODY played heavy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!most were light players,one or two were standard players.. so me and my friend were the best so we had to set up everything. i got to choose the song.. and the standard players were up and i asked them to do Afronova-light and they said no cause it was to fast....it was a light song you cant do it.then they ended up doing happy wedding...my friend won since he could do heavy.so tell me if u have any bad tourny stories

      I haven't had any DDR tourneys at my school, but you should see Slime Time's DDR-esque game. It's beginner mode!

          Oh god those are horrid. Listening to the horrible way they mixed the nick theme songs into one ear-splitting medley is torture, and watching the kids flail around on the pads doesn't really qualify as competition in my opinion.
          I haven't had the fortune of experiencing any DDR tournaments, but I'm not really good myself, so I won't complain.

          PS This most likely belongs in the DDR section of the forums.

              I haven't taken part in any really organised tournaments, but I was involved in a club that did small tourneys every week and DDR was a choice.

              Anyway it seems that whenever I talk to someone who says they are really good at the game it usually means that they can beat everyone else, who, coincidentally, cant even pass easy sometimes. So, after a quick game they reallise that 'good' doesnt describe them and that in order to get good they would have to have no life.

              Then of course I look at it and think how really bad they were seeing as I consider myself only good but not close to 'excellent' or 'superb' or 'I have no life.' I can complete with a decent score no AAA and very few AA, all 8's and under (that I have played) most 9's and I have not completed any 10's by feet. So comparing myself with people I think are really good, I dont stand much of a chance.

              So, thats my story. What we can conclude from that - people who say they are "OMG REALLY GOOD!!!!!!111!!1!1 lol" at DDR are not.
