[Note – Expect spelling mistakes because I can’t spell French stuff]
[Don't complain about the pictures, they were all taken with my phone]
Said I’d make a thread and here you go, for anyone who is interested in how Paris went. Finally got all the pictures from my phone to the computer.
Ohyeah, because I’ll not be typing in detail, most of this would not have been possible if it were not for the fact that Krissy is fluent in French, so I’m skipping all our asking for directions and all that.
Saturday
Arrived in Paris, got to the hotel (never use taxis in Paris, ever, they charge extortionate prices)
Decided to go sightseeing, used the metro (only time I’ll say this, we used the metro about 16 times or more in 4 days to get around, the metro rules).
Found the Arc De Triomphe and Champs Elysee

Later we got some food

Sunday
This was our 2 year anniversary. Started with going to the Musee D’Orsay

(Crappy picture I know but this is the interior)
Random sculptures and stuff

EXTREME CLOSE-UP

Then went for a walk along the river Seine and found the Place De La Concorde, good place for pictures

No holiday is perfect without candy-floss!

Later that night we went to the Eiffel Tower. On the way:

[I think this picture is awesome purely because of how it came out so wrong, that big blue dot is the Eiffel Tower, but my phone decided to turn it into a blue dot and focus on the sunset]
Proper tower pictures:

Overall though, the Eiffel tower is over-rated and just plain sucks, horrible food, horrible prices and generally nothing to do but stand around and look, which gets really boring really quickly.
Monday
Disneyland, hooray.

RANDOM BIRD

RANDOM ROBOT

After all that we went to the Louvre, but unfortunately the French have a thing about Mondays, they are fine with Sundays but Mondays they close a lot of stuff early, this included the Louvre, so the closest I got was:

Ohwell.
That night we went for a meal at an authentic Italian restaurant (La Raugheta, and yes I know, Italian food in Paris = wrong but who cares).
Oh, I also proposed that night and she said yes, but anyway.
Tuesday
Final day, we only got half a day because flight was at 4pm, so generally just walked about and bought some gifts for friends and family, I got myself a clock of the Chat Noir.
There we go, was fun.
