I've noticed alot that very talented simfile makers have others make their graphics for them...and i wondered why? They can't expand their ability in graphics making? It's not hard to make a banner or background...and to some people those don't matter, just the song and steps do. So can anyone tell me why?

1: They don't have access to a photo editing program such as photoshop.
2: They don't have much experience in the area and prefer to ask a friend who wouldn't mind doing it, it's quicker. What's wrong with that?Comment

If I made graphics, they would look like crap. Seriously. They would not be pretty to look at. Zaghurim's graphics are very pretty to look at, so I take him up as my indentured servant.
Creating neat backgrounds and such take Photoshop skills, which I have no talent for, and do not feel like putting in the time to acquire.Comment

If you're a good simfiler but bad with graphics work, then you're basically in a no-win situation, since you'll have one of three options:
- You don't make graphics at all and get yelled at for it.
- You make ****ty graphics and get made fun of for it.
- You ask someone else to make you graphics and most of the time they take at least a week to get back to you with anything concrete.
I usually go the route of #2, because I tire of waiting on others very quickly.I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. I made most of my simfiles completely. Made the songs, steps, AND the graphics.
But nobody played them.
Especially not Have a Seizure.
=\So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment
