And it is likely I'll get more than 20 hours if I want them.

Double post + bump but whatever, not making a new thread when it's the same topic.

Well, worked my first day today and was then told that it would be unfair to throw me into the job, but that they want me to work for them still as they like me, so instead I'll be moved down to the bar downstairs and will be floor staff.

OH YAY THE SAME ****ING JOB I WAS ALREADY DOING AT THE NIGHTCLUB.

Needless to say this is gay, here is the score:

Pros:
- I get to serve people (++ tips)
- More hours, 8pm-2am 3 days a week (instead of 10pm-3am 2 days a week)
- More flexible, they will fit my hours around my university degree when I start.
-I managed to still get it so that some days from 6pm-8pm (before work) I can still get cashier training, and be paid for it, so really my hours would be 6pm-2am, which is even better.

Cons:
-It's the same job, and no bar-backing (which was more fun than floor staff)
-Taxi home every night (-£5) so I need to make tips to remove that.

So really, am pissed slightly. I know I'll prefer working in a bar which I know better than a nightclub which I've grown to dislike, but what can you do, I'm stuck with it now seeing as I handed in my notice to the nightclub.

Ohwell, thought you guys would be interested in an update, and I needed to vent slightly.

No i didnt need a job interview..to be a waiter since it was an asian restaurant
