Yeah, there are a whole lot of injokes that you really have to look for.

They wanted to do something that was cartoony and a mix of all the games before FFX. I think
a lot of people don't like FFIX because they start playing with the wrong mindset.

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

    Maledictions: The Offering.

FF8 was monkey excrement, FF7 was wasted potential (but not entirely bad), and FF6 = YOUR GOD.

That's all I'll say on the subject here, since there's a gaming board for this.
      You fail.

Well, I think that Chit-chat covers everything.

I thought FFVI was good, but I liked FFV better. My favorite of the Famicom Trio was FFIII though.

FF3 / Jap 6 was THE best ever. You don't know the FF series unless you have played that one.

            It shanked my jengaship.

I feel that another game that I like that is along those lines is ChronoTrigger. Not as in depth, but still a good, comprehensive RPG.

I like Chrono Trigger, but I really like Chrono Cross better.
