Airsoft as a sport

The sport of airsoft is using bb guns and either re-enacting a historic battle or to fight against free for all or teams with bb guns. It requires camoflage and some stealth skills to take down your opponents.
If anyone plays Airsoft as I do (I play in a arena)
Please share your thoughts and stories on airsoft.
Paintball talk is absolutely allowed.

Nothing like that around here. But my BB gun sucks ballz. I did get a 4-7x scope for it. I just shoot birds or squirrells.

LOL. It depends where you get hit Jewpin. You can feel most guns shot through clothing. It stings alittle. On open skin it makes welts and sometimes bruising.

I play airsoft, it's awesome. A TON better then ****ing paintball. Money wise, realistic wise, skill wise.. etc.

BB's can fly with the wind. Paintballs cant. BB would be harder. Paintball is gay because you have to spend 400 dollars on some foam to protect you.

I got a BB lodged under my knuckle once. Now I can fire BBs from my wrist.

Airsoft is a nice sport to play. In fact I have a MP5K with handgrip and a silencer.
The mag can carry 50 bb's with me but I think I will modify that soon.
What kind of bb guns do you guys have anyway?
I am very interested.....

Hey when you guys play airsoft where do you guys usually play at?
I play and practice in a mountain not very far from my house.
With 30+ friends from school.
I split them into teams of four and we train in the mountain as survival training. Creating different scinarios, objectives and missions after a given amount of time. Its really fun when your frienhds got AK 47s, MP5s, M4, M16, and handguns.
Only a select few have the sniper rifle. We usually have one sniper in a team and the rest as CQB.
So how do you guys play?

I play with my neighbors kids. They are like 7 years old or something and more or less I just shoot them from my front lawn and watch them run home crying.

1. I shoot anything moving within the 50 yrds around me.

2. I don't play but it would be fun.

3. I got hit right under the eye with one. I guess I can shoot them from my eyes Mal.

4. I got one of those Grizzle things. Bolt action. Holds like 200 BB's in that chamber thing. I also have a red rider. That one holds more bb's but has less power. You have to cock that one once. Yea. Me and neighbor up the alley get in trees and see if we can hit each other sometimes. Its fun till you fall out of the tree because you got hit in the face.

I think airsoft is cool and all, but it's also a bit too realistic for my tastes. I'd rather play paintball, to tell you the truth.

Although I would like a full-sized airsoft gun though... that'd be ****ing awesome
