    stlunatic's new laptop - HELP

    I just did all the specs for my new laptop. Everything seems okay, I just wonder why it wouldn't let me choose a better video card. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve this computer in any way? Things like would any of you suggest 2 GB RAM over 1 GB (does it really make a difference for a non-gaming computer)? Thanks all..

      Okay thanks, I won't be doing too much except schoolwork and FFR/SM, maybe some adobe premiere. Will an integrated video card work ok for FFR and SM?

      Also, does 1 GB RAM "2 dimm" mean that it's two 512 MB cards or one 1 GB card? I definitely don't want two 512 MB because trying to upgrade makes the two cards worthless.

      Any other suggestions anyone?
