Well in celebration of my 100th post, i decided to be a bit festive and throw a poll party. Yep, now is a good time to have a console next to your T.V. (particularily a PS2, like muah). So, since there's a buncha big name games out and coming out soon, figured I'd find out what everyone wants most in their stocking come Christmas.

might as well start it, as its definitely gonna happen...PS2 so totally kicks all other system's asses. Seriously. No argument. Look at the lineup for this fall (hell, this year,) and you cannot argue.

Oh and I'm gonna get a path beaten to my door by a pitchfork and torch carrying mob, but Halo is overrated. No it really is. Its fun, I'll give it that, but its definitely not the 'greatest game of all time' like everyone seems to think it is.

yea its gonna be friggin expensive...they're tryin to package PSHard drive and FFXI into one package for about $100, but you also gotta pay the PS2 online fee assuming you have online (i don't) so there's another $50 out the window, and an additional subscription fee for the game. But the flip side is you get this enormous, awesome game...its been out in Japan for like a year now and its a huuuuge hit.

THe PS2 itself is a horrible piece of crap.

Unfortunatley, it's sold the most units, and therefore gets more video game companies to develop great games for it over any other platform.

Look at every multi-platform game. Notice how the PS2 version is always the worst?

With that said, I still would hate to go without my PS2, simply because so many awesome games do get released for it, unfortunately over the GC or the X-Box. It's a shame, but oh well.

I feel the same way about FF7. Yeah, I do go overboard when I'm dissing it, I admit. It was alright. The thing is, greatest game of alltime? Phsaw.

Halo is a bit overrated, I agree. It's a great game, though, IMO. It's one of the best multiplayer FPS games out there. It requires high levels of skill, and yet still manages to be fast enough that I don't get bored with it. Whereas CS is so slow and just a general bore to play while Unreal gets too chaotic for even myself, Halo blends the two into something I enjoy.

ps2 is free only 12 a month for the game but ps2 version comes out next year

Anybody wanna start the game debate with me? Let's look at product lineup for next season. PS2 has a buttload of big-name games coming out or just came out, shall I list them? All of these are PS2 exclusive.

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, Jak II, Socom II, FFX-2, FFXI, DDRMAX and DDRMAX2, MGS3: Snake Eater, GT4, GTA3 and 4, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, THU online exclusive, Onimusha III, Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain, Resident Evil Outbreak...need I say more?

Let's look at Xbox. Halo 2 next year, Ninja Gaiden, Doom III next year, Counter-strike next year, Deus Ex: Invisible War...yep that's abou tit for Xbox. Strong lineup you guys got there!

While I'm at it, let's look at the cube which is just piss poor. No online (big bad thing right there) and hardly any big titles coming our way (even less that arn't made for those 7 and younger)...FFCrystal Chronicals, MSG: The Twin Snakes (why they made that for the cube...), Mario Party 5, Geist, Next Zelda game, Resident Evil Code:Veronica, Star Fox 2.

Any of u even try to argue you will soooo get shot down. Oh, and PS2 has the best controllers by far...I know it's been said, but just thought I'd bring that back out into the open cause its SO FRIGGIN TRUE.
