So my school's marching band is going up to Ontario/Niagara Falls area for a few days. Were going to Niagara and then to give a concert or two, but it's not a full blown marching comp. Were coming back Sunday. Of course its going to be a 11 or 12 hour bus ride up there from New Jersey. I have $260 to spend there. I won't be able to post from Canada i dont think, so I guess i'll post some of the pictures in PYP when I get back. See ya later..

Re: 180digi goes to Canada.
Ok guys. Sorry I took so long to post, but the night I got back my dad wouldn't let me use the computer, and my parents still wouldnt let me get on it for any long period of time until tonight. I had to put 70 pictures from my camera onto the computer, resize it with a program, resize them all again because something went wrong and it didn't take or something, and then I had to upload them all to PhotoBucket which all in all took about 2 hours because I was listening to music and talking to people at the same time as I was trying to do this.
Ok the ride to the hotel was 12 hours long. The bus was really uncomfortable to sleep in, mainly because there was an 8th grader in the seat in front of me and the stupid **** kept trying to push her seat all the way back, crushing my legs. I had to sleep on the bus with my legs out in the aisle.
Here's a picture of two of my friends, Trevor and Austin when we first set out about 10pm:

..and this is them at about 1am or so..

About this time we stopped at a rest stop and it was raining slightly. Here are some pictures of my friends while we were there..

I saw this in the bathroom and I thought of you guys..

Now when we got over the border I was afraid that the customs officers would like, check all our stuff and we might get detained for some reason. We all had our birth certificates and/or passports out (because for some reason we only needed birth certificates to cross the border) but when the woman came on the bus, she looked at us once, said a few words to the shapperone(sp) and walked off the bus. I dont have pictures of the Niagara Falls TOWN, but I do have pictures of what we did there.
Basically all we did was walk around, eat food, and go to the Falls. I wanted to go to the hotel really badly because I was tired and seriously needed a shower. Here are pictures of Niagara Falls.
It was raining slightly and pretty foggy out on the water.

Here are pictures of when we actually got down there.

Two of my friends, Jaime and Esteban..

Here are the falls more close up. I was worried the whole time about my iPod cellphone and camera getting ****ed up in the water being sprayed at us.

The next day we went to a big ass mall called the Eaton Centre.

After shopping for a bit we toured around and saw some buildings. This building is something like an old parliament building or something... I know it has to do with government and its old. The newer building is right next to this one but i never took a picture of it.

We went to this one tourist attraction called the Cien Tower, which is the very tall building where you can look out from the top and view the entire city.

Here are some pictures I took from the inside.
Going up in the elevator at like 50 miles per hour.

There were like three views from three floors you could look out from at the top of the tower. This is the lowest look out floor.

Second lookout floor.

I used one of those binocular machines to look at people at the ground from up there, it was awesome.
They also have on the second lookout floor this area called the 'glass floor' which obviously is a panel of what i thought might have been bulletproof lucite sort of material supported by beams. here is a top down view.

This is me lying out across the glass floor. I look like crap but whatever.. There were lots of people standing around me at the time so it was hard to look good with all the people running back and forth.

That night we went to Medieval Times. This was probably for me the highlight of the whole trip. I just had more fun here than I did anywhere else on the trip, even though ive seen the Medieval Times show like twice before this time.

..our guy was the yellow knight. This is probably what happens in every show as it was the last time i went to a Medieval Times, our guy was defeated in the first match against I think the red knight, however the princess convinced them to spare him. When the Marshall of Arms or whoever the traitor was killed the winner of the tournament, the Yellow knight saved the day.

vs. the Red Knight.

Battle Royale after the tournament vs. the traitor.

Final Battle

Victory!

And then we said, "What's next? We're going to DisneyLand!!"
The next day we had to do a show at a place called Canada's Wonderland, which was an amusement park. It was actually raining the entire day. The other marching bands who were sheduled to show up (two others from the States and two from Canada) all cancelled theres, so i'm gonna be pissed if the judges dont give us extra points for playing in the rain. Our sheet music was soaked and hardly anyone stopped to watch us; we cut the show practically in half. It was like one group of Asian tourists and the shapperones/parents and that was the only people watching.
..my friends Danny and Nick..

A picturesque view of the garden, fountains and mountain behind where we played.

..but I dont have any pictures of the concert or anything that happened when we were at the amusement park. I left my camera in the bus for fear of it being ruined because we were only wearing shortsleeved cotton shirts out there. I later regretted that because we found a kid at the amusement park who was originally from Canada and at one time actually went to our school. The odds of us finding him there were like a million to one but we did, I wanted to take a picture of him, but... I think the amusement park was the worst part of the trip, I couldnt go on any rides because I was stuck with a group of pussies and 12-13 year olds who didnt want to go on rides. I got all pissed off afterwards and i just wanted to go back to the hotel and sleep.
..oh look theres Scooby Doo..

..But I wonder how Shaggy somehow turned into an asian girl? lol
Ok...im tired of posting...but were in the home stretch now..
Here are pictures from the hotel on the last night in Canada...I was hanging out in a friends room because my roommates were being asshats.
My friend Austin(with the box of condoms), Derek, Marty, and Trevor.

Myself and one and a half of my friends.

We had a Spartan to protect the door for us..

Picture of my friend John on the second 12 hour trip home..we left at 9:30am and got home at roughly 9:30 pm. Awful.

I wish I could have stayed in Canada longer...You'll never walk alone.Comment
