Would you risk your life?

Ok, I didn't make a good first impression, but this is a serious topic and not just some random ****.

So, make note that this question is purely hypotethical. I'm looking for an answer that is what you yourself think of the matter and what you would do, without paying much attention to details and the scene.


You're, for example, walking down the street somewhere and you hear a screem. You see a person in life threathining situation. There's a possibility that your involvement could cause the person to die, or you getting killed, or both. So, would you go and help the person, knowing that you would risk your own life in the prosess, only to save the persons life?

It could be a gun fight, it could be a fire, it could be anything else, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that are you willing to risk YOUR life to help the person without getting anything in return than a thanks or mybe not even that.

It depends on the person. If it was a really hot chick or something, yeah. If it is Edgar Wayne Gayse, then not so much.

Ok I guess I expressed myself bad, what I meant was that I was reasoning like the first part of what you said too, that I don't value mine that much.

No because if your goal is to help the person who's in a life threatening situation, your physical involvement could very well make matters worse.

Being involved doesn't mean leaping in and taking a bullet =\ It means going to get help from people who KNOW exactly what to do in whatever the situation is. I personally think that anyone who isn't willing to do just that is a heartless bastard.

I pretty much won't do anything that involves me seriously risking my life, no matter what it's for.

Depends on the scenario, I'm not prejudice against who the person is, I would help the person if it was an old woman, an insanely hot woman my age or a geeky guy, it doesn't matter. The real thought is the scenario. I'm not about to run into a situation with 10 men with guns gang-raping a woman, because the liklihood of me living/saving the woman is very low, but if it was one guy with a knife then yes I would fancy my chances at stopping him.

If the situation was too bad to deal with I would call the cops, if not I would try to help.
