That's cute, smashman. You have no idea how affected by advertising you really are. We all are. While not all of it works, most of it does on some level. To try and say that you aren't affected by advertising is a bold-faced lie.
Trying to fight all advertising is a losing fight because it plays on parts of you over which you have zero control. Good luck with that.
After coming to terms with this, I let advertising work on me and it's great. Numerous times have I seen a commercial for Pop-Tarts and immediately gone out and bought/eaten some. Almost every time I drive past that Panda Express billboard I crave Chinese food. There's nothing shameful in this. Advertising obviously works because it's a gigantic industry that's flourished over the past half century or so. You're not somehow cool for realizing that advertising sometimes has some underhanded tactics and trying to resist. Be impressed by them; don't hate.
