The reason the pages are numbered is because a friend of mine is doing pictures, and it will be in picture book format.
Everyone I know found it amusing.

"Star Student" by Michael Gettings
Page 1-2
This is Jane. Shes in the second grade! She loves school. This week, she is the "Star Student!".
Page 3-4
She gets cookies at lunch and she gets to tell her whole class about her family.
It was the best week ever.
Page 5-6
Soon, too soon, the week was over. It was another childs turn to be the "Star Student".
Page 7-8
Jane didn't like this. It made her angry. Very angry.
Page 9-10
Jane did the math: with the number of students in her class, she wouldn't get to be "Star Student" again for the rest of the year! Unless... Unless something happens.
Page 11-12
Jane started small. 3-4 kids got "sick" at lunch one day and had to go home.
Page 13-14
They never came back.
Page 15-16
It looked like an illness... And thanks to the science kit that Jane had gotten for Christmas, it was virtually untraceable.
Page 17-18
On student "fell" off of the monkey bars.
Page 19-20
Another "fell" onto a pair of scissors.
Page 21-22
Soon, there were no more then ten classmates in her class! Jane was very happy...
Page 23-24
Until the men in blue started watching her class. They took Adam away. Adam was always a trouble maker.
Page 25-26
No one suspected her. Not little ole' Jane!
Page 27-28
It was time for her to be "Star Student!" again! And now, she knew just what she was going to do.
Page 29-30
She got cookies at lunch, but instead of talking about her family...
Page 31-32
She talked about how much fun it was "becoming" "Star Student!" again.
Page 33-34
When the men in white came to take her to the padded room, all she could do was smile.
Page 35
And it was the best week ever.
