    Re: phpBB vs Vbulletin

Because I was asked by Synth over AIM what I thought of phpBB vs. vBulletin. It would have been rude to simply ignore him.

I suppose this is what I get for not reading the topic. The way he talked over AIM and the title of this topic made me think that we were going to discuss the pros and cons of each and then pick one based on public opinion. My bad.

EDIT: First line is @ Jello
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

phpBB is god-awful. I'll fully support a switch.

Go for it, people can always get adjusted to looks, security is important.

        I'd like improved searching.

well.. we can start the switch shortly if you guys want. I will have to shut down the forum until it is up though.

            All in favor say "WIGGLES!"

            Cheers,

              Re: phpBB vs Vbulletin

I'll give my wiggles to it. The sooner the better, this loading bar is annoying me and since it has already been decided, I see no reason to wait.

EDIT*-I assume the switch will fix the problems the forums are having? Like the gltiched topic in Crit and not being able to reply in topics with apostrophes?

Do what you gotta do =x

I'll just sleep through it anyway...

PS - I know it's stupid to ask but I'm going to anyway.

Possible to change my username to Squeek or MreSqueek? plzkthx

The capital "E" kills me and it's just so much easier to deal with it if it's lowercase, or if the "Mr. E" isn't there at all as that's something my 10-year old brain came up with 10 years ago.

I love the Mr. E Squeek name.

                          Mystery squeak.

                            I find it lame now.

You would still know what it means with a lowercase "E", and it'd be better with no "mre" at all =/
