Like I said, it's a filter. Once you figure out how we do things here, it's not hard to fit in. There are some easy-to-follow guidelines:

1) Learn how to type.
2) Never take anything said in TGB 4srs
3) Make relevant and coherent replies to threads that matter.

That's why when certain people outside of our forums decide to poke fun at our forums, they see the surface level of things and make fun of it. But they of course do not understand it because practically everything here is an inside joke among the members.

Don't come here and flame people, it's ignorant. It was an IDEA, a SUGGESTION, and although it may have been a bad one, it was his opinion, as you have yours, so respect it.

I don't see how you can call anyone else immature or retarded, when you're sitting here, wasting your time making posts that involve finger pointing, and name calling. Get out of the third grade, and then visit us here at FFR.

As for LightKnight (to stay on topic of course) - Yes, some "N00bs" (horrible word by the way) are idiots. We help them. Otherwise, they're going to wonder to another forums board, (if they're blocked from this one) and continue to be idiots. I enjoy having new people. If we had the same people forever, wouldn't it get boring? I'm all for change, although I don't see the bringing of new people, although some of them being idiots, a bad thing. In the real world, it's not them who has to adapt, it's us. The old ones. The long-term members. Maybe we should make adjustments.

People are going to be younger than us. People are going to say stupid things. People are going to post on FFR, and make just about everyone on here mad.... That's anywhere you go. If you can't handle a forums board, and how to deal with people there, then tell me, how do you survive in the real world?

I have only a few things to say. First, I think that when noobs are flamed, they either shape up to meet the standards of the forums, they go and make even bigger idiots of themsleves which eventually leads to them leaving or getting banned. Those that change for the better are the ones who then stick with the FFR forums and most of them become "elitists." The few who do not become "elitists" are the ones who are helpful to the "noobs" and actually put their input into threads. Now, I was flamed a lot when I first started posting mostly because this was the first forum that I had ever posted in in my life. I think the ones who had the most influence on my posting is probably tass, squeek, and eb. I lived through all the flaming of my grammar, my semi-post whoring, general stupidity, etc., but I have come through and become a somewhat respected memeber of the FFR forums. At least I think I'm a respected member...
What I think we all need to do to solve this problem is first stop the use of the word "noob." It is stereotypical, and somewhat of an insult to the person, and it just degrades people. Also, don't base your opinions on somebody else's opinions by their post count. I am guilty of this sometimes, but I think it doesn't matter how active you are on the forums as long as you have a valid point. Another thing I think that would help out the FFR forums is the banning of GB material in other forums (OMFGROFLWTF I GOT 1337 POSTS>.<ROFL). I think this is a bad influence on some "noobs," especially if you TYP LYKE DIS as a joke. People who are new to the internet probably take this seriously, and start typing like that everywhere. I'm getting a little off topic now...
I think that we should continue to have things the way they are right now (in terms of letting people on the site and the forums). Howerver, I think that their should be a restriction on the GB just because it is a bad influence on a lot of "noobs". Sorry for my rambling, but I'm tired and I have to do my homework...
