    No. That's stupid.
How can you say that when you admitted yourself that you're shy around people you don't know in real life. You have no problem saying things among many, many, people you don't really know on the forums. This would be an excellent skill to have in real life.

Nah, I'm here till I'm done with it.

As for one of the other above comments, it's not really all that stupid. There are a few studies that show that many people at least act differently on the internet, if not adapting something to their real life. It might seem like it may be stupid or dumb, but it happens to people, whether you accept it or not.

In case you didn't notice, qualy, it's me, eb. ;D
        • 1. Which community did you find this questionairre?

        www.flashflashrevolution.com
        • 2. How many communitites do you take an active part in?

Uh, if you count MS, then 2.
        • 3. If more than one community, do you act differently in them? If so, how?

Kinda. I mean, it's hard to compare. In MS I'm playing a game with a community of people and there's different kinds of interactions. But I guess I'm about the same. I try to be helpful to people on the forums, and I'm quite helpful inside of MS, so I guess I'm still the same, basically.
        • 4. How do you act on the Internet in comparison to how you do in real life?

I actually communicate on the internet. I'm shy as hell in person until I get to know you. Once I'm friendly with a person, though, I don't hold back and I'm pretty much the same. The only real difference is that I can't make a face like ^______^ in person.
        • 5. Do you more actively participate in forums, chatrooms, or other?

Forums and AIM. Chatrooms are too fast with too much going on and too many people usually. AIM is fast, but one on one so I can more easily keep my train of thought. Forums have tons of people, but it's slow enough that it's easy to keep up with. Chatrooms are just....too much. x__x

I dunno, my internet self and IRL self kinda mix constantly, so I'm not quite sure what is influencing what. I mean, if I offend a friend in person I will probably start being nicer over the internet to people I've been a little hard on, but at the same time, I've caught myself rofl'ing in person (and I mean something was funny, and while laughing I instinctively said roffle without thinking about it....that was kinda scary) and I use internet humor with friends who understand it. Overall, I would say that the internet has had an effect, but not anything drastic.

I was in part joking. Also, I have not changed in my non-internet related life based on what I have experienced in the forums. Yeah, it'd be a great skill, but I havent used such a skill in real life...so the answer is still no.

1.Which community did you find this questionairre?

The one I'm posting in, I'm pretty sure.

                    2. How many communitites do you take an active part in?

                    Two.

                    3. If more than one community, do you act differently in them? If so, how?

I'm the same everywhere on the internets.

                    4. How do you act on the Internet in comparison to how you do in real life?

I'm a little cooler, funnier, more outgoing, and more crazy than in real life. There's no time to plan out how you're going to reply to someone in real life, nor is there a backspace key or edit button. Mind you, there aren't spelling mistakes, either.

                    5. Do you more actively participate in forums, chatrooms, or other?

Forums tend to attract the more intelligent people, so I like forums.

                    6. Is there any part of yourself that you have adapted to or dropped from your real life because of something you found about yourself on the Internet?

No, I still am completely silent to anyone who does not approach me in real life, giving the impression that I am very depressed and have no friends. It's hilarious.

                    Thanks!

                    No problem.
