How My Hockey Game Went

I let in 10 goals... reasons being... I got their late and the equpiment was locked up and inaccessible, so i'm struggling to put on the equipment and they actually start the game before i'm ready, so i'm out tehre with my skates barely on and not tightened at all....

I'm a LEFTY... they only had equpiment for a RIGHTY... huuuuuge problem...

The goalie stick was loaned out to another team so I had to use a normal hockey stick, and wouldn't you know it, its the only piece of equpiment that's for a lefty.. shame I had to USE IT LIKE A RIGHTY cuz of the glove and blocker... I never really had my leg blockers fully on so they kept flopping around...

I CAN'T SKATE...

My helmet was 3 sizes too small so i lost circulation in the 2nd period...

It was awesome, I'm never doing it again

@Blah - Right for lefty is not good AT ALL... And small helmet :S I'm sorry, man... How did the game go overall though? And for a first time being goalie, you just need to practice some more and you'll be good in no time

Goalie +1 respect. I was always more of the enforcer. Just skate around and hit the good players. I never had too many problems with pads, only a few bones that one time.

Laredo, the most Mexican town in Texas, actually has its own professional ice hockey team. So yes, we do that sort of thing. Never said we're all amazing at it, though. Then again, the Dallas Stars did win the Stanley Cup, mirite?

San Antonio has it's own minor league hockey team, San Antonio Rampage...I went to go see a game to see exactly what kind of team we have. We suck. Hugely. But, yes, there are indeed hockey teams in Texas. GJ Tass for stereotyping Texans/mexicans.

Btw, Mexicans do teach their kids how to play hockey. Well, kinda. Parents pretty much just say "here go play" and hand you a stick and ball, but we kinda teach ourselves from watching t.v.. Parents are just there for moral support.
