In Search of a Few Good DJs...

FFR's anniversary is in a couple weeks, and I'm seeing if I can put together a nice ensemble to get music flowing all evening and long into the night.

The requirements are just that you need to have a broadband connection and the shoutcast plugin for winamp.

You don't have to mix live on decks either, but if you just play songs and don't do a good job we might cut your set a little short.

Anyone interested?

I have Broadband and the plugin... no clue how to use the plugin though. If someone could tell me how to, I could be a DJ. I have lots of cool music... No deck though.

well.. i am a dj, and have a broadband connection
however, my ISP is retarded and caps the upload speed at 12k
also, my ISP dose not allow any servers of anykind, yeah, its retarded. I would have loved to do it though, blame it on Adelphia

you connect to the server, because you would have the client software. In either case, I think 12k is fast enough, just be sure you aren't sending other files at the time.
