Soccer (part II)

Following up on my Soccer Thread. ( http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ghlight=soccer )

Anyways, My season ends tomorrow . My last games will be for the Semifinals and then either the Fianls or for third place. So yea, my team made it to state and we are in the Final Four right now. We are guaranteed 2 games tomorrow to decide the winner. Anyways, We have a very good chance at winning it all.

Recap of the season...
We started out really well, defeating the defending champs in out opening game and had a strong season. We ended up 13-4-5 in the regular season. In the state playoffs, we went 5-0 to make it to State. The first game of state was today and we won, 2-1. So with the 2 games tomorrow, if we win in the morning, we play in the finals. If we lose, then we will play for third place. Either way, wish us luck.



ps - some of you from the other thread were in sports too. How did your teams do or if you haven't finished yet, how are they doing?

I'm out of sports for a while because I ran into this other dude today and my quad muscles hurt a ton. I'm limping and it sucks.

I used to play soccer but ended up quitting because my coaches all sucked and I was put on the same team 3 years in a row. Now I play water polo, which is similar to soccer... sorta. Well, good luck and I hope you guys win!

Our soccer team failed in the first round of the playoffs. We sucked roughly 67% more than I expected us to.

Well, today sucked.

We ended up 4th in state. Lost both our games today. First game was poor reffing, but that didn't make us loose the game, it just didn't let us win. 1-0 score kept it a close game. 24 fouls against us, 9 for us, only 1 within shooting range and it should have been a PK, but it was moved outside the box. Anyways, our second game was a joke. We ended up putting our keeper in at forward for about 10 minutes and ended up loosing 1-0 again. We could have won this game, but almost everyone on the team was tired and noone one really wanted to play after loosing the first game. We probably could have won it all, but wahts done is done. Atleast we got a big trophy . I'll post some pics when I get them.

Lol Vikings. Good to know there's a Viking team that actually wins... mine couldn't... actually, none of our teams can win a championship. Sad.

I'm lovin' the Predators. I have a pair myself.

As for my Soccer teams. The Region One team finished 2nd in states behind Reston FC. I quit my school team. My club team took first place at the National Indoor Championships.

Predators are the shit. I wanted the silver ones, but they only had the sexy all black/red trim ones in my size and i'm not complaining. Anyways, congrats on first place at the National Indoor Championships.

Yea seriously. Be very happy you're on a good team. I was stuck with a bunch of idiots.

I was pretty good. I fought for everything and worked my ass off on the field. I was usually a left defender. Only a few goals throughout all my seasons were my fault. I pretty much stopped everyone else, including shutting out all-state players. If I had a better team, I would have worked harder in practice and practiced a ton in the off-season. Sadly, my team made me completely unmotivated to try to become really good at the game.
