    Chemical Burns suck.

As from you title of this post you already know what this is about. Now I could sit here and type in detail about the events that lead up to my encounter that leads me to believe what I believe as stated in the subject.
But the truth is, My leg hurts and I want to goto sleep.

So here is the short version of what happened.

    -Was at work
-Was handleing "Super Clean", a degreaser used around to clean tough grit and grime.
    -Slipped on some water
    -Right pants leg got soaked
    -10 minutes pass
    -Start to feel burn
-Check Chemical label and see "Currosive" lable. Includes Hand and surface top with Big "X"s on both pictures.
    -Leave work to go home
    -Call poison control
-Sit through the most painful shower ever.
    -Get topical cream
-Apply topical cream and gauze wrap
    -Still have pain.

Thats about it. Now I have a Rash like area on my leg, headed up by what looks to be 400% oversized sweat pours on my thigh covering about the size of a baseball.

    hm, Fun Times.

    RE: Chemical Burns suck.

My grandpa obtained chemical burns one time. He couldn't go outside while the sun was up for 6 months.

Spilling unknown liquids on you and shrugging it off is usual a bad thing anyways.

I think you burnt off the top layer of your skin...the dead layer. I dont know the technical terms, but I've had a similar thing happen to me, however never as a result of a chemical burn. It sucks. I can't imagine having that happen to my entire leg.

Happened to me while i was at work as well. I work at a theme park and i am part of the crew that works on a rollercoaster. well when we open up the ride, its required to clean the train for inspection. well theres some spray-on cleaner that we use and yeah i pulled the bottle out from the bottom cabinet in our storage room and the lid was loose, so like just as i picked it up the chemicals spilled all over my legs. burned all my hair off and left a huge rash on both legs

Sorry no pictures, I was more concerned about my leg at the time than takeing a photograph. Maybe next time though.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, Super Clean is rated a 3 on the health hazard HMIS scale. Btw, that scale only goes up to 4.

Not sure if that is exactly right, but its pretty close.

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Well I wanted to say it was epidermis so he would be reminded and be like "oh, duh" but I didn't want to just post "It's called epidermis." I know, I was making a joke at your expense, but stfu every comic does it.

PS: I just hope you don't masticate on your epidermis. It'll never heal that way!

This guy at my work was pulling out a big rack of cleaners and stuff, and a giant ass bottle of INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH LIME REMOVER falls, cap pops off, and splashes all over his legs (he was wearing shorts).

He SCREAMS, jumps INTO the sink (shorts, socks and shoes still on), and starts spraying himself off with the hose for a good twenty minutes. While hilarious, he actually did the right thing- chemical burns are no fun. I hear you- I got degreaser over my arms once, and even though I washed them under cold water for ten minutes or so, it still burned for the rest of the night.
