    RE: It

It's weird to have something that... irrational, happen right in your family. I know I see it around a lot and say exactly how I would handle the situation if it were to happen to someone I knew, but now that it has, I don't know what to do.

My hopes are with her, I want her to return well, but I know how these things usually work out, and I have faith that this will be different, but I don't want to set myself up for disappointment.

As for the news deal, I'm pretty sure it will only make local. She was pretty, but not rich. Her mom has money, and is frantic, but I doubt it will be national. As soon as they release an article on one of our local news sites, I'll be sure to post it. Thanks for the support.

      RE: It

I find it odd that when Elizabeth Smart got kidnapped 10 miles from her home, it was a national thing, but when a 7-year old Black girl from Philadelphia was kidnapped, escaped, and returned home within an hour period, no one gave a damn. =/

        RE: It

If that girl had been missing for a few years, it would have been the same. There is some story there, but Smart had a lot more time and so a lot more story.

We hope there is good news soon though.

Good News! Or so we expect...

My cousin's computer was checked, which they should have done earlier, and there was a conversation she had with a boy (which I ironically know) and it was mentioned in that conversation that she was mad at her mother, and the boy responds "Well, you know where I live"..

It still leaves me confused that her cell and purse were left at her house, but I suppose once we find the young man, we will know for sure. As for the boy he is 18 as to where my cousin is 15 as I mentioned before, so he'll be in deep shit either way.

Thanks for all of the support. If I find out anything more, or if we find the young man or her, I will be sure to update.
