Alright, here's the situation: I inherited an ipod from my uncle who got it from a friend. My mom thinks that the devil music on it is really bad and will corrupt me into becoming a mass-murderer/satan worshipper, so she said no more ipod until you change the music on it. I said ok. I downloaded itunes, bought some songs, made a playlist and got ready to download music onto the ipod when I realized that i didn't have anywhere to plug my ipod into. I went to the store and bought some really expensive firewire adapter thingy for my laptop. It's name is ADAPTEC FIRECONNECT for notebooks. It plugs into the place where you put a wireless internet card. I opened itunes, put the card in the slot, and then connected my ipod to the card adapter thing. When the ipod was plugged in, it made a beeping noise, then the ipod had a circle with a line through it that said do not disconnect. I thought to myself hmmm this looks like a good sign. Then I waited for a little while until i saw that it had recognized the ipod and had put all the songs from the ipod onto the computer. I thought hmmm this also looks good. Then the computer committed suicide. This blue screen popped up with a whole bunch of error messages, then the computer restarted. How do I fix this?

Out of curiosity, what music was on it that was going to corrupt you?Originally posted by Henri PoincaréThe scientist does not study nature because it is useful to do so. He studies it because he takes pleasure in it, and he takes pleasure in it because it is beautiful.Comment

LOL?
Can you boot it back up again? If you can't, wtf did you do o_o. But if you can, try it again. If it still happens, it's a problem with the computer or card, not the ipod. Find another person with a laptop and try it on theirs. If it still happens, it's a problem with the card. If it works, there's some kind of really, really strange compatibility issue with your computer.

ok so all u need to do is start it up, then update ure playlist n00b.98% of American teens use or have tried pot. If you are part of the 2% that hasn\'t, put this in your profile.
