                      Well, thanks. I now have a project for my goverment class. This should stir up enough controversy (sp) with the whole Iraq affair to last a class period.

                                          On a related note, I thought the reason for going to Iraq was to distract people from the fact that we didn't find Osama Bin Laden by saying "oh hey it's iraq's fault 9/11 happened. lets go kill them, k?" Looks like I was a bit off.

                                              Such a pointless war, really. Iraq did not pose a direct and eminent thread to either the United States or our allies nor was it preparing to build weapons of mass destruction nor was it encouraging terrorism.

                                              Saddam Hussein was a bad man but that doesn't give us the right to invade the country. You shouldn't go to war unless for defense. And this was not a defensive war, it was purely offensive.
