We need another meetup location, one where it's easier to get to for everybody. So why not have one in the middle of the country?
Location: Kansas City, MO (And the surrounding areas)
This meetup is more for the DDR and ITG fans than anything else, since Missouri doesn't have a whole lot of anything else.
I'd like for this thing to be a three day meetup, possibly a whole weekend (Friday through Sunday) but it may not work out. I'll be doing a lot of researching on the arcardes in the KC area so we can decide on where we're going. Also, to add a little competition we'll hold the meetup when then KC DDR players have their next tournament. AKA Fall Madness 2005.
The tournament takes up a whole day due to how many people usually signup. (Average is about 100 people)
Winning that should get you about $400 and a nice Cobalt Flux dance pad. That should be worth the trip up here wouldn't you say? That should easily pay for your Gas, Arcade money and Hotel expenses.
I'm not too certain but my guess is that Fall Madness 2005 will start in early October. So that's when our meetup will probably be. I'll make sure to get an exact date as soon as possible. Expect for the meetup to be anytime between Late September to Late October though.
Any thoughts on this?
