    System restore will fix anything, assuming you didn't turn it off. Ive recovered from many a virus with that. More convinient then reformatting anyway.

    And others have said, Norton is indeed useless.

      Don't system restore if you want all of your crap gone, duh. I was originaly going to have in my post something along the lines of "listen to Anticrombie", but I thought you already knew.

        I rebooted and Norton stopped bugging out. Then I installed the grisoft one and made sure everything was fine. It was.

        Norton's just a whiny bitch.

                It only goes back to the last checkpoint, which was probably a few days ago. So you'll only loose what you've done since then.
