This is one of those years. The dreaded "sweet sixteen." I can't even decide what I should mooch off of my beloved friends and family this year. No doubt I can go for some pretty big gifts. Any ideas? You've got fewer than 19 days.
Honestly... what is special about sixteen besides being able to get your Learner's Permit. you still can't drive. you can't go to R rated movies until 17. you can't buy porn or cigs until 18. you can't vote until 18. you can't sign a contract until 18. you can't drink until 21. you can't rent a car until 25.
you aren't your own entity until 18... (read: you are a dependant of your parents until then, at least).
It should be Excellent Eighteen, really. But, we live in a messed up country that doesn't do anything that is logical... so, YAY SWEET SIXTEEN!
Ask for a subscription to one of those shareware programs all of us use and just deal with demo trials of. It's only usually like $15, and you don't have to ever mess with "out of trial days" or "can't use that option" or "man i have to hack this stupid thing"
Plus, it's nice to support those developers every now and then, some programmers have it tough.
Here, you get your learners at 15 and your license at 16 and one day. A few years ago they decided to change length you have to have your licence for from one year to a year and a day and I seriously cannot figure out the reason for that.
Swiper No Swiping!!!How the hell do I know that??
I'd ask for a car.

My method of making love is quite different than you might expect. I prefer to find a girl taking a nap at the local preschool, and then make love to them as they scream in my large, sound-proofed, white van. I then make love on their face, and throw them in an ice-chest of bleach. For pillow talk, I usually say, "Your parents can't hear you," and keep their teddy bear as a momento. You could call me a hopeless romantic, I guess.
I didn't do anything for my 16th birthday. Well, until my friends heard of this nothing and took me to a movie.
I didn't do anything for my 18th birthday, either. The world obviously hates me.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
