That may be so, but firefox wasn't the problem with your "lag", run spyware apps, something fishy is going on, and it' aint the fox.

Opera's byfar the best of them all, it just doesn't support certain java functions.

Hence I use FireFox ... ^.^

And, I used to have problems before with java functions. But with Opera 8, no more!

Hell, even if you don't register Opera, the ad banner (if you pick the Google one) is virtually unnoticable. It's not registered on my mom's computer and I can't tell the difference between that one and the one on mine. The banner is small. Plus, look how SLEEK it looks. Firefox is square, and it handles tabs different than I want them too.

I like Opera so much more then firefox. They have pretty much exactly the same features. I liked the layout and look of Oprea better so I use that.
Although Firefox did mess up on me sometimes like the screen would jump up and down while it was loading and after it was.

Seriously, though. Get Firefox 1.0.6 (or whatever this new version is). I don't even think you need extra plugins to run flash movies. The most you'll need is just the Shockwave Flash plugin, which takes a whole minute to download and install.

I ran Adaware, Trojan Remover, and a full AVG computer scan.

Nothing.

My computer is fine now, the way it used to be, now that i'm using Opera.

It was Firefox, and you can't argue against it.
