        RE: Pwned-ed

Actually, Elitetorrents is the first website to actually get shut down by the FBI and MPAA. Suprnova volunteerly took down their site.

Hey LD, remember the conversation we had three days ago when I gave you the link to download the first season of Arrested Developement off of Torrentspy? If not, it went something like this:

LD: Oh, I dont like Torrentspy, they are being monitored by the MPAA
Jewpin: Really? What torrent website do you use?
        LD: Elitetorrents

Remember kids, downloading music and movies will make you gay.

              First LokiTorrent, now this.

I did a little sorce code diggin', and came up with this

The IP to EliteTorrent, make public by the US Goverment.
Also, they left a big ol' stream of evidence of where to track them behind, like the code was obviously made by a trainee web developer in the goverment. It was made by MS frontpage and word for grammer correction, surprizingly, 2000 Edition. What do you know, the US Goverment is behind in technology, that's funny, cause you think they would have more from all the funding we give them...

Oh, and at the bottom of the page, if you highlight it, these letters show up:
              RTJKJAS

Along with an empty tag: <o></o>

I'll do some more diggin' later

Edit: HUGE LOOPHOLE FOUND IN US FILES
If the server is located in outside the US (Does not contain the 192 in the IP or uses a scrambler) They cannot do anything about it, sense the ISPs only in the US agreed to crack down on P2P transfers.

                    Torrent sites aren't illegal.

Hosting hash files has never been and never will be illegal. You aren't hosting illegal files, you're just linking to them.

                    Read up kiddies.

                    Edit - See?

It is unlawful to reproduce or distribute copyrighted material, such as movies, music, software or games, without authorization - even when done for free over the Internet. Individuals who willfully distribute or download copyrighted material risk criminal prosecution under 18 U.S.C. 2319. First-time offenders convicted of criminal felony copyright laws will face up to five years in federal prison, restitution, forfeiture and a fine.
Where is this material hosted on their server? I wanna know!

wow. you must be some sort of super-genius to be able to hit view source twice and draw some super-smart conclusions from what you find. as for your "loophole", you're retarded.

                        Update on sorce code

Turns out the page was designed for Microsoft IE 4 when the current one out is version 4.5. Looks like the US was more behind then I thought. Spell check and grammer check were used in the page and are in their own sorce tags. The links to the images are spaced and are not properly made for normal HTML, so no wonder they sometimes don't show up. They use spaces insted of one name, causing errors in the page. Who knew the government was so behind....

And I do hope the FBI stops what their doing before we have to point this out to them the hard way....

Most torrent sites are hosted on Foreign servers.
