RE: How do you upload pictures?

It probably added another to drive to My Computer, like H:\ or something, when you connected it. Go check, it should have the pictures on it.

there should be a window that comes up when you plug it in at first.. that says what do you want to do with your pictures or something.

What good is the stick if your computer doesn't know what it is?

Let it go through the drill down for the new hardware setup stuff, and then it should work.

not sure what that means dude...all i have is a sony camera with a USB port and it has a memory stick...all i did was hook it up to the computer
wouldnt do anything...i just want to get them on the computer so i can send them in email...never knew it would be so difficult...

When I say drill down, I mean the process of installing the hardware. Since your computer is seeing it as new hardware, you obviously haven't installed it.

                    So install it.

Wow. Everyone in this thread is retarded.

See the D:\ drive "Removable Disk" in the picture? That's it. It will appear when you hook up your camera.

Umm... (testing sig). Upload them from the USB by connecting the camera, installing the hardware, and opening the memory stick file in the "My Computer" folder. <Simple as that!

That's what I was thinking, but that could be a USB drive, you know those ones you carry around your keychain.
