Lets see... the world record for the 1500m freestyle is 14:34, so figure this guy will do each mile in about 20 minutes, and he goes for 12 hours each day. that is 36 miles a day. The distance from Oslo to Reykjavik is 1080 miles, and from Reykjavik to Maine is 2340 miles. So, lets figure that these are inland and he'll be swimming less... so his total distance is only 3000 miles, at 36 miles a day, is 83.3 days of nothing but swimming.
