    n e 1 understand a VOIT swimaster?

I recently came into possesion of an old VOIT Swomaster speargun that my grandfather once owned/used. It is practically in pieces, and i would like to attempt to bring it back to its glory (hopefully, at least to where it works properly).

It is old, it works by rubber tubing that loops from the front of the gun to a notch that is in the spear itself. It also has the tether on the spear. All i have right now is the surgical tubing, the spear, and the string attaching the spear to the gun. Anyone out there know how to repair this antique?

I have no clue how to fix that.

But I have to give it to you man. You have a speargun. That's fairly badass.

The tether doesn't look like it serves any real purpose for the shooting of the gun, it just looks like an easy way to get the spear back so it doesn't sink to the bottom or anything. As for repairing it, I'm guessing you'd have to figure out what the trigger unlatches and connect the rubber tubing to it somehow.

Also, go buy a spelling and grammar textbook.

Ya, sorry about all the typos... it was fairly late when i put that up. I have looked some more stuff up on the Internet, and it turns out that the VOIT website itself is no help... I know that the tether is to help retrieve it (sorry if i didn't put that down), the rubber tubing connects to the spear itself, sort of like a wrist-rocket, and the trigger releases the spear. Basically, what i really need, is a god place to buy some tubing, and i need to find someone who understands what all the little switches do... sorry though they're not in the photo.

The switch on the left is the safety, i figured that out, but there is a little hook-shaped switch on the other side of the gun, and all i can figure out is that you can't move it when the spear is in the gun, but you can move it forward then but the spear in the gun......... confusing.

Just remember to point the spear end away from anything living (including yourself) while you try to fix it.

What are you talking about Jewpin? In sayn any gun( or otherwise) manual
that you have to fix, reload, and anything else that may result in it firing at
yourself or almost anything that moves.

Anyways, nice speargun. Bring it to skool someday and show it to all the staff.
