I can't even remember. It might've been qreepy. I remember there was a contest I made to see who could find where it originated, BUT SOME CHEATING WENT ON WITH A CERTAIN PERSON EDITING POSTS COUGH COUGH.

I think I beat LD in calling him LD by a few hours. But that really doesn't matter.

I remember when Synth had the most posts on the site (he had like 300, haha).

I remember when only Synth and Nestlekwik were mods.

I remember back when the only mods were Jewpin, Kwik, and 87x...that was probably the golden age of the forums, because it wasn't crawling with postwhores and spammers back then. If you were stupid, you got smacked down by the mods and that was that.

Then you don't remember correctly... Moderation was very lenient back then. And if you don't remember dave, original yanah, and others who are 20x worse than most today, you don't deserve to be talking about that.

And heh, the moderators barely had to DO anything at all back then. There were in-and-out revolving door trolls, and a few annoying postwhores, but elsewise, not a lot.

Oh man, this reminds me of a lot of stuff. I didn't visit the forums for a while, and even then it was like just to report the bugs FF7 Battle used to have, but I've been here a damn long time. Hyrogashiroth was Arch's idol. He had a big =O for his avatar and he was really weird XD That was back when I had serious illiteracy problems and thought forums were like online game chats.

I'm gonna go find the first few threads I posted in, ought to be worth a good laugh.

I used to be a mod on LD's site. I only went a few times, and all I did was delete like half of linus's posts, because all he did was spam over there. Then LD redid the forums and I was like "can I be a mod again?" and he was like "no" so I was like .

But yeah, I remember when Kilga became a mod. Oh man, those were the good ole days. Oh wait!

Seriously though, I can barely remember the old FFR. Somebody posted a link to the old version one time but it didn't work. I remember playing it and I remember the score screen (because I've seen pics to remind me) but the main interface I just can't remember because I never played much. But I wasn't here in the old forums so I missed all the good stuff. :'(

Wait, so what's the difference between the forum list and the memberlist sorted by join date?

I don't know what's up with my join date, but I know I registered my handle at the latest in January of '03. I've been on FFR since September of '02, but never came to the forums until April of '04. So, sadly, the only "good old times" of which I know are those of the orange background of FFR.

Synth has a join date of Nov. '02.. I don't think you joined in september of the same year.

Try again, buddy. FFR was around for two months before the phpBB version came around. Back then it was just the first releases of the game, so there were no points or anything, therefore no reason to have a name to register.
