BATTERY REPLACEMENTS
For those of us (i.e., me) who are sick of the iPod battery's shitty life and failure to hold a charge, and don't want to spread our cheeks to Jobs by paying $100 for them to install a new one, why not DO IT YOURSELF?
That's right, you heard it from me. I got mine in the mail today, cracked it open, installed it in about five minutes. DO NOT BE SCARED ABOUT DOING THIS- if you can install RAM, you can install this. It's very easy- the hardest part of the whole process was cracking open the case, truth be told.
It cost $35 (including shipping), and I am now the proud owner of a new, improved iPod battery. For those of you sick of your battery life, I very strongly encourage you to do this.
But don't take it from me. Read iPodLounge's Review, where they confirm how well they work and how easy it is to do.
