How did you come across FFR?

I'm sure theres already a thread for this but I'm not sure.

How did you come across FFR, the game or the forums. It doesn't matter. Did any certain person introduce you to it? Or did you find it yourself.

This boy named Derek whose mom is friends with my mom told me about it...at first I was all pro-promoting it. Then the whole site knew who I was...and I decided I wanted to keep it secret.

My friend was big into emailing me random stuff. so I played a few games. Thought that this game rocked, and joined up. So, here I am.

A bunch of kids were playing it in CompSci my senior year (right after it came out), so I started it up and schooled them all, since I'd played some DWI before that.

Me and my friend were big on DDR, and he told me there was a site where you could play it on your fingers. I was like zomg no wae. He was like "yea, and I think they might even have candy!" I was like "wae kewl". And then I went to the site, and started playing the game. Learned about SM, started to browse the forums, then started to post. So, a year and some months later, here I am.

Searched DDR, found this, joined in April of 04, played FFR for 6 months, made new name, joined forums in November 04. So actullay, my 1 year birthday is only a couple of montha away

Searching for DDR, constantly- I was 13, bored, and DDRFreak was pretty boring.

My friend showed it to me back in September '03. We were both big into DDR, so we played FFR until we both owned it... started posting on the forums around December '03, starting visiting the Chat in Jan '04, stopped playing the game about Sept '04, cut down on both forum and chat frequency about Dec '04. But I'm still around.

I saw Guido playing this summer, thought it was kinda dumb, but got overtaken by boredom one day and decided to play..

I had an away message up that said I was playing FFR, and Guido's response was "YOU'RE PLAYING FFR?! I love you!"

I got to the forums out of curiosity... just kind of snooped around for a few months before putting up a picture in post-your-pic.

I was at my friends house and her little brother was playing on this site and i looked at the site name and yea now im here lol.

FFR was actually my first rythem based game that I had ever played. tnyhwk900 showed me the game sometime around March of 2003 I think. I started playing and liked it. I didn't join the forums until a few months later but I never posted. Once I started getting good at the index style back in about June of 2004, I quit my old gamepro176 username which had over 2300 games played and only 160 million points. In late June I quit for a while then joined under a new username on the 27th. Then joined the forums on July 10th.

I don't know where tnyhwk found FFR though.

If anyone was wondering it was FFR, DDR then SM.
