Okay, for those of you who don't know, I really hate my school. (My morning school, I get to escape for an advanced program in the afternoon.) My school is called Warren Woods Tower High School (Tower for short.) Spirit week is next week, and I've been looking for something big to do. Every time we have a spirit week, I wear a shirt from a rivaling school on School Spirit day, but I was feeling especially angry at our school this time. I've already planned to contradict every single special dress day of spirit week next week, but that didn't quite seem like enough.
So last night I get home from robotics, and my best friend had left me a message saying "Eric, I really need you to go to a Tower basketball game with me.. I'm begging you, and remember, you owe me one from when I went to Sam's swim meet with you." So, I grudginly agreed, because I did owe him one. The only reason we were going was so he could watch his girlfriend on the dance team at half time. For a while, we just sat outside the gym on a big half-wall thing by the gym entrance, and had nothing to do. Then we got the idea to go outside to this huge field that's in front of our school, in between the road and the school. We just wanted to run around in it, because there was like a foot of snow and nothing better to do. So we prop the door open and go outside, and were just messing around when I get an idea.
"Dude, we should write "TOWER SUCKS!" in huge letters in the snow!"
So, we did. By writing letters in the snow, I mean shuffling to draw them with our feet. So after about 20 minutes of writing, our feet were completely without feeling (snow packed in our shoes), and we took pictures. We made it back in the building with about one minute to spare in the second quarter, and no one saw us doing it. I drove by after the basketball game stuff was over, and it was still there.
