    Going into University/College

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Considering I'm in my final year of high school and will be going to university next year, I'm interested in how many people here are in the same situation as me. So I'm asking what year of school everyone here is in, whether it's high school, College, University, drop-out, or graduate. If you're going into university what are you going into? (if you know). And where?

Personally I've applied to three universities in Ontario:
    - Ryerson in Toronto
    - Brock in St. Catherines
    - Guelph-Humber in Toronto
I've applied for Business Administration in all three.

If you have applied now or know where you're applying to, please post it. Even if it's not well-known, there may be the odd person here or there that knows about it. Also the area you'll be going into.

      RE: Going into University/College

More than likely, I am not even going to college since the only thing I want to do might be a waste of my time and money.

I had wanted to go to Art Institute of Atlanta for Photography, but I keep running into people who went there and feel like they wasted their time and money.

I really have my heart set on getting a job at a small studio. For some places, I don't need schooling for that. I just have to know what I'm doing.

Of course doing that would not be the smart thing to do money-wise when thinking long-term.

12th Grade, going to (hopefully) Univeristy of Washington, or (already accepted w/$5000 1 time scholarship if I go) Washington State University, but I'd really rather get into UW. I am applying this week for it, so. . .wish me luck.
        Nice.

Well, I am in my junior year at my high school but here is what I am thinking...

I want to go into computer engineering at University of Maryland : College Park in the Honors Program there. I have over a 3.5 gpa and a 1430/1600 on the old SAT so I can get in there as of now...

Ananana don't go there.... those advertised colleges you see all the time are all hoax really.. They're very unrespected schools even though you get the feeling of the opposite(que brainwashing commercial) they are. I thought about going to one until I found out from a couple close people that's BS. Plus I live in Atlanta too....

I took the ACT last year in 7th grade and got a 20/36, which is an acceptable grade for a college. =D

I'm not really concerned right now, though. I want to go to MU, but otherwise I'll probably go to Central Missouri State University (CMSU), which is where both of my parents went.

Probably going to Dalhousie University here in halifax. Good university with alot of options, and its close to home so alot less stress and trouble.

Yes. Those art schools and computer design schools are horrible.. You won't be able to get a job anywhere :\

Well if you want a decent college and easy to get into and just easy to go through period College I suggest

Dawson College = Amazing college here in the Montreal area, tons of options and everything and really great staff ( friend of mine goes there and no he's not a dumbass skipping through, he is really intelligent and enjoys it there )

                          OR

Champlain College = Fairly decent college and easy to get into and lots of fun to be there. A lot of my old teamates from sports teams go there for the sports and stuff but it's a good fun easy going college.

Both on the West Island out here Montreal area.

I'm at a local university as it is in my second semester.

                              Majoring in Computer Science.

Let me give a recommendation to ALL people here applying to a college now or next year:

                              TAKE CALCULUS IN HIGH SCHOOL.

Just do it. Take things higher than that if you can. TRUST ME.
