I would have to actually KNOW the config for IIDX before I began this undertaking...

I've never played it before, you know. All I know about it is that there are 7 buttons and a scratcher, and that the bars scroll down and make a flash appear when you hit it. Can I get someone to lay out the specifics for me?

Oh, by the way, this will be a "background project", meaning I will work on this from time to time while working on other projects. Which means, keep throwing out other ideas for me. I was thinking of making a game where you have to progressively multitask more and more things; kinda like microgames in WarioWare all at once.

I seem to remember this really old game where you took over the world via global war between two powers (you and the other player) and it was so cool...

That sounds like the FFR RPG that never got off the ground. I'd love for this to be made.

I also like the Super Mario Bros. idea and Galaga one. The best idea, though, has got to be the IIDX one. This would be super awesome. I would bear your children if you made this.

You do realize I'd first have to know the inner workings of IIDX, then learn how to code it in Flash, right? This could be a while.

As for 2d shooters, I will NOT make ANY kind of 2d shooter. I hate making them.

You could incorperate FFR the game into a .hack type of game where you check posts on FFR (the game made ffr not the real one) and do stuff according to that. It wouldn't be like real people posting. Just when you do a certain thing, a new post shows up challenging you to do something else.
