    WHO HATES ANIME?

    Ok maybe it is a strong word BUT BUT i really dont like anime and i know alot of ppl do and for those of u who do like anime im sorry but i just go to post b4 i end up postwhoring i already got a warning so here VOTE

      People judge anime by the shit that's on Toonami. Most people think it's all Pokemon, DBZ, and Sailor Moon crap. That's just totally not the case, anime is a very versatile genre, and there's many, MANY different kinds, it's really hard to hate EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. I'm not gonna flame you or start a flamewar or anything, but don't judge anime by the bullshit that's popular here (excluding some stuff on Adult Swim). Hell, go watch Elfen Lied..you'll probably crap your pants.

                      I don't hate anime (anymore). I watched a few and for the most part I still don't like it because to me there has to be a sense of realism, and a story flowing with it to keep me interested. For example, DBZ has no story, or an incredibly slow moving one. (When you waste 30 minutes of a TV show to charge up some stupid attack, I'm not going to watch.)

                      I also don't like the artwork that much. Some of it I can tolerate if it actually looks real, but I sorry to tell you people have noses, not tiny triangles in 2-D.

                      Therefore, I don't watch any (well, one, but I have to DL it), and I only read Blade of the Immortal and Gantz. The rest I just can't stand.

                          Anime is just like any other medium of entertainment. There are good animes and bad animes and fucked up animes (these are the best).

                                      Ok i just hate these big eyed over dramatic cartoons (not trying to flame here but every anime seems to preseeve that) but there is one kind of anime i like (but i cant say it on this forum in fear i might get another warning)

                                                  FLCL is the one of the best serieses on the planet just because its fanbase manages to extend from the critical thinkers all the way across the spectrum to the insane.
