RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Upcoming exams

No they're not the same. Completely different types of education and careers options. Not that one is superior to the other. It just depends on what you need to get into.

But we have colleges and universitys here in canada. And in america. I don't know what alain is talking about.

College and university are the same thing...

The two terms can be used interchangeably and are defined using each other... also synonyms... You wouldn't say the University of Virginia is not a college... that would be stupid and ignorant.

If you're referring to a "Community-college" - that's a little different. Adam Carolla would call it "Junior college."

I don't know what you all call it in Canada, but here in the USA.. we have Community colleges and college/universities.

I'm surprised people think that college is easier than high school. HS was a joke, especially during exam times.

I'm not really worried about any of my exams, but I certainly have been for classes in the past (at college, of course, because there wasn't a single hard final in high school).

My last final is December ninth: Linear Algebra. I've solidified a B in that class, so I'm not worried about going down or up. Before that I have Conversational Spanish (maybe), and that'll be an easy A. Mechanics of Deformable Bodies? Could be hard if the professor didn't make ass-easy tests. And that leaves...well, that's it, since I don't have Organic Chemistry anymore, there isn't a final for racquetball, and I'm done with my labs. Awesome.

Really. It is. I'm more worried about the homework I should be doing now, but I'm not.

                Aren't middleschoolers like... 12?

                Or even 11?

                Last I checked...

PS - My college is called "______ ______ University". It's a university. No need to get technical on synonymous terms.

Actually, Universities tend to be a better quality school than a school labeled as a college. Both fit in the college category, but only out of tradition. In fact, colleges and universities are rather separate entities.

One example would be that there are often many colleges inside a university. My father, as you might have guessed, works in the college of economics.
