      Grr. They're going to turn it into bloatware, I know.

      I wonder at which point a new underground project will show up and surpass Winamp in coolness.

          Meh, didn't like the newer versions of Winamp anyway. That kinda sucks, though..:/

                  <3 winamp 2.0 been using it since like 1997... maybe not quite that long, but definately since 99. <3 napster too, before it got sued to no end.

                              Oh, yeah, forgot to mention: foobar uses the mpg123 decoder instead of the Fraunhoffer decoder that Winamp uses, meaning that the audio is higher quality. There is an mpg123 decoder available for Winamp, but it's in Japanese.

                                  I use WMP as well, something happened to my Winamp and it started being dysfunctional, so i uninstalled it. Oh well =\
