Ok, its like this, im addicted to initial d and other great games. i probally spend 60-80 dollars a week playing them, but is the momentary satisfaction worht the price i'm paying for some of these games, im sure i could do something better with my money, but i was born a gamer and i doubt i'll change that. So are arcades a waste of money or woth it?

RE: arcade games and money
Dont waste your money on buying an arcade machine, because you will most likely get tired of the game after awhile.
A lot of Arcade games have Console versions in Japan. Buy a modchip or import a console from Japan and import the games you really want. Initial D is uber fun, and fairly popular, so I wouldnt doubt it if in a while they make a US version of it for one of the consoles (most likely PS2).Comment

In theory, it doesn't make sense.
But the truth is, you're a gamer.. it's what "we" do. It's just like any hobby.
In the long run, I'd say it's worth it if you're playing people and winning..Comment

you'd better be pretty addicted to these games if you spend 60-80 smacks a WEEK.
I'd save up that money and buy a console.Comment
