    I F'ING HATE HORRIBLE PROFESSORS

I got a fucking D+ on my Discrete Structures test.. cause he's a fucking moron at teaching the stuff.. I had a B knowledge of the stuff since I had to teach myself it... then, AND THEN he puts 25 fucking questions on the test.. It's a high level math course.. YOU CANNOT DO THESE PROBLEMS WITH AN AVERAGE OF 2 MINUTES PER PROBLEM.

He pisses me off with his teaching style too.. He does what my mom does, which is my biggest pet peeve: half thoughts/half sentences... like where they kind of tell you something but don't tell you enough to either remember it or know what they are talking about. My professor stands up at the board and just stares at it in silence after he writes part of a problem out.. then states a half-completed thought. I hate this retarded shit.

Ten problems is good for a high level math test. Fifteen is max. I just took a Linear Algebra test on Wednesday. It had 17 problems. I flew through it. I finished in 45 minutes. This class was 75 minutes long, compared to my Discrete Structures class which is 50 minutes; so, the length was acceptable for that test (considering I flew it).

Oh, and by the way, there was no way of avoiding this professor either.

Man, that sounds just like my linear algebra class. I actually just left it early because I didn't want to listen to his ass babble about determinants (which I already know).

That class is kicking my ass at the moment, and I have little doubt that it's the professor who's making everything more confusing than it needs to be. He's the only professor for this semester, and I've heard from several people that the Spring professors are infinitely better than he.

He's this old man with a put-you-to-sleep voice who does everything symbolically without explaining half of the stuff. It really pisses me off, especially when he took off hardcore on the test for not having perfect wording. Man, I hate this class right now...

I have yet to encounter a professor quite like that. My professors this quarter (although I have only had two days of classes so far) all seem really good.

My professor for Linear Algebra last winter really annoyed me with his tests though, as he had this habit of putting strange proof questions on his tests that not only made no sense, but were also more or less puzzles (if you could understand what it was asking) instead of anything that one could apply a technique learned in class to.

        Let's see...

        Discrete Structures teacher: Rox.

Calculus III teacher: Rox and has an awesome accent to boot. Come to think of it, my Calc I/II teacher rocked and had an awesome accent.

Differential Equations teacher: Fine but I don't know most of what's going on .-.

Mechanics teacher: Needs to actually EXPLAIN things more. Not that it matters to me because I took Physics AP two years ago and got a 95 in it.

Volleyball teacher: Rox. Plus I had him last semester for health, where he once shouted FUCK to the entire class as part of what he was discussing. My god it was hilarious.

History of Modern Germany teacher: Does the best he can with a boring-ass subject. He's a pretty good guy besides.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

Calculus and Analytic Geomety I - Teacher is alright, but his style of teaching sucks majorly. I find myself sleeping constantly in class from the boring factor. Then, the test is obviously curveballs of all the stuff we'd just learned, so I bombed it.

Computer Science I - Teacher doesn't even know how to use Word. I fear her style of teaching, for it is incorrect to tell people THAT YOU CANNOT INITALIZE A DOUBLE WITHOUT A DECIMAL.

Computer Science I lab - Professor doesn't speak any english. Nor does the TA. 'Nuff said.

Calculus and Analytic Geometry I lab - Professer doesn't speak any english. 'Nuff said.

English 101 - I like this teacher. She rags on the grammar idiots so hard. It rules.

History 100 - Teacher is good, subject sucks majorly.

So...all in all, two out of 6 professors know how to teach.

Most of my teachers are pretty good. I had a couple brutal ones last year. One, my TRM teacher (essentially Home Economics), was a really nice guy...if you could stand to listen to him for over a minute. I swear to god, he talks like Ben Stein. He is the most boring person I have ever had the misfortune to listen to.

My math teacher kind of sucked as well. She had the really annoying tendancy to not answer my questions. Like, I'd ask her a question, and she'd go "well, what don't you get about it?" 'Everything' didn't seem to correctly convey my thoughts.

Finally, my English teacher pissed me off to no end. She simply DID NOT TEACH. Her assumption was that because we're in Advanced, we already know everything, thus, she doesn't need to teach and can still test us on it. And she gave us a quiz, literally, EVERY DAY.

Oh, and she hated my writing style for some reason. Every teacher in the history of TIME has absolutely loved my writing, this year's teacher is no exception. It was just that one idiot last year who consistantly gave me Bs on essays just because she didn't like how I worded it.

Methinks you need to spend less time complaining and more time studying.
