RE: Nintendo only has "kiddie" games?
Nintendo should've lost the kiddie label with the REmake.
Sadly, anti-Nintendo fanboys persist.I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.Comment

RE: Nintendo only has "kiddie" games?
Not so much that review, but I was reading through some of the others...thank you for a jolly hour of laugh filled entertainment, Kenzya. Here's what they had to say about some games:
Quake III
Doom III... the game is filled with demonic symbols like pentagrams because id Software thought they would look cool. A few of the characters in the full version are scantily clad to prey on the weaknesses of teen-aged boys.
=/now they [graphics] just don’t seem quite as impressive. Don’t get me wrong the game is really beautiful graphically speaking, but there are many things that are seen that could have looked better.
Max Payne
No, wait...you don't actually go to hell in that game?I found myself actually scared during some scenes of the game. During one level, you can here people praying to Satan, find Satanic books littering the floor, and Max even gets to take a journey to Hell several times during the game only to find his family screaming at him for help. [Editor's note: other players say this is a drug-induced trip.]Comment

DDR: Religious score: 1/5. This Mind controlling device should be burned. Children all over the world are following the (sometimes demonic) orders that the videogame reels out. As the arrows approach the targets, they become possessed by some form of evil mind control and put their feet where the arrows tell them to. We should burn this malicious attempt of mass mind control at once. Next, they'll be making games telling you to play D&D or not attend church! Follow God's way and don't be lured in by this evil tool of the devil.Comment

From the WindWaker review.
Negative: This, unfortunately, is the reason that I have a bad taste in my mouth when I think about this game. I'm going to take a lot of heat for what I'm about to say, but I'm honestly disappointed in the spiritual content of WW. The Great Faeries somewhat resemble the Hindu goddess Shiva. Link gains the ability to "possess" certain objects and even a few specific people. resemble Every few minutes it's "the gods this, and the gods that...", the Windwaker contains "the power of the gods", you get a certain ability from the wind god and the ability to travely quickly through cyclones from the cyclone god, and the Tower of the gods has the G in gods capitalized (yeah I know, it's part of the name but still...), and the two sages when mentioned are said to be praying to the gods. The only redeeming thing from the entire gods issue is in one instance you have to kick the cyclone god's butt (which I really enjoyed). What really did it for me though, was that there is a point in the game where it is required to seek out two sages to pray to the gods for the master sword to be reenergized. The game actually says something along the lines of "your prayers were answered and the master sword regained some of its power!" And for people whom would try to say "oh it's just fantasy" try talking to your pastor about it and see what he says... be sure to tell him about the Temple of the gods and the two wind gods, and the praying sages. But I'm a "thou shalt have no other gods before me" kinda guy, so I took this game back and asked for a refund. Yes, I've already been criticized for this, and surprisingly mostly from Christians. For those that think a 2 is too harsh, I would have given this a 1 except for the fact that I felt this game didn't deserve to be placed in the ranks of Diablo and Grand Theft Auto III. If it weren't for the praying bit, I'd have given this a 3 and would probably still have the game.Comment

Um what? I'm Christian, I don't really care if my games are perfect. Those people just go too far....Comment

Why do they focus on the "bane of Christianity"? Does anyone else notice a trend in the type of games they reviewed?Comment
