heres the straight: there's literally nothing we can do as a society to engage with islamic terrorism without seeming incredibly bigoted so just let it happen. like you said, islamic religious fervor will eventually die out.

Honestly, why is it bigoted though? Can't you criticize a culture or a religion, or even part of it, without by extension criticizing all of the people who happened to grow or take part in it?

People who really uphold radical islam as a way of life wish to destroy the foundations of freedom that we have in the western world and replace them with frankly a bunch of terrifying shit. Ironically, the freedom of expression, faith, opinion that we all are so used to have is detrimental to itself when you deal with intolerants. That doesn't mean our culture is perfect, but consistently produces a drop in violence and cruelty as time goes by. I'd rather not have a rollback just because now the trend is to never offend, never challenge and frankly it feels like never think at this point.
