                                                  I've read the poems (which are actually good) and watched the musical (fell asleep in the middle and was fucking confused) so I came in knowing what to expect. If you don't know anything about the musical then you will hate this movie and will be unable to consume it even ironically, I think.

                                                  my sister and I sat in a nearly empty theater and spent 80% of the time just making banter and laughing nonstop about Rum Tum Tugger's sex dungeon and Grizabella's reality-bending poverty, and Macavity being SS tier for being able to literally make heroin rain from the sky

                                                  If you see it you need to read the synopsis beforehand and also bring a friend with a good sense of humor
