It would be nice to at least see that certain posts were deleted. It's easy to misinterpret things without context. Although seeing something along the lines of "this post was deleted" wouldn't give the complete context, it would provide people with enough context to know they don't have the complete context (and thus should take their own interpretation of the thread with a grain of salt).

I'm not even sure what things are possible in vBulletin in regards to this topic, but that's just my 2 cents on whether posts should be deleted or not (or something "inbetween").
