For a similar reason a woman with other problems for giving birth would go for in vitro fertilization and have another woman host the baby. The only male part of your genetic material is the Y chromosome which isn't even passed if you give birth to a girl.

I don't really want to derail this thread so let's keep it at that as you seem really opposed to the concept.

When did you first start to figure things out?

Is surgery expensive? Do you want to go through with it?

How long did it take you to reach veteran status and was the custom title worth it?

Does your family know? How did they take it?

i only like guys romantically

well i always detested the genitals on my body since i was little; since elementary school i looked away whenever i went to the bathroom

i didn't realize i was a girl until i was in middle school but i couldn't stand people calling me male pronouns since i was little and i always felt like i belonged with other girls and never belonged with boys

in 7th grade there was a project where boys had to write about what it would be like to be a girl for a day and girls had to write about what it would be like to be a boy for a day, and i felt so happy because i knew that i was a girl and i didn't have to think about what it would be like to be a girl

unfortunately, i hadn't told anyone in school yet that i was a girl so i still had to do the assignment like a boy being a girl instead of the other way around

i kept telling my mom i felt like i belonged with girls and i kept telling her that i am a girl since middle school but she thought it was just a phase and i would grow out of it; she didn't believe me until 12th grade; also 10th grade is when i told my brother and dad that i'm a girl and 12th grade is when i told my friend and everyone in my creative writing class

i will definitely get the surgery and it's about $30,000 for surgery for "male to female" surgery without insurance, but i'm going to try to get the surgery with insurance

it took about two years for this account to become a veteran and it was kind of cool being a veteran because at the time only veterans could use R^2 and my name was blue in profile chat which was neat

and yeah my family has known since 10th grade which was 2009-2010 for me and they accept me but my mom still "mourns" the old me since i used to be a lot more quiet before i told everyone and now i express myself a lot more

my dad thinks the hormones i'm taking are making me think less clearly because apparently i used to have a lot more logic and i used to understand him and the jokes he made better

my brother didn't want me to be near his friends or his school when i first told him because he used to think i was embarrassing and he didn't want his friends or anyone at school to know i was his sister and make fun of him or ignore him

he doesn't think that way anymore though and he completely accepts me and he doesn't have any problem when i see his friends or anyone at school

i'm only stating the negative stuff but my family completely accepts me now

What is your opinion on pickles?

i never used to like pickles that much and i never wanted them on the burger i got in fast food restaurants or at family restaurants when they gave you dill pickles

in fact, i never used to like mustard either and i only liked ketchup until i was like 8-10 years old

however, i started to like mustard once i was about 9 and recently i like to put pickles on the burgers i get both in fast food and in family restaurants

i still don't like the idea of eating a whole pickle by itself though

also i love mustard now and i use mustard instead of ketchup for most things like fries and onion rings

also i get both mustard and ketchup on cheeseburgers (and bacon) :P
