You live in a reasonably sized city.

Go to somewhere small like where I live. Tinder will still try to aggressively show you a certain number of people to swipe on, when there simply aren't enough people in your stated range to give you that many.

I've looked at it show me the same picture attached to two different names and ages and descriptions -in a row- because it assumes if it just shows me the like, ten people in my town who are actually using the thing and then nobody else, that there's no chance I give them any money.

People are a number of kilometers away from me having all these great and engaging careers and whatnot, in places that are basically the forest or the lake.

devo is right about there being just kind of nothing but bots in far-out places, because they random their locations. other bot hints: you have no mutual friends with them (i just have a lot of friends here so it's somewhat reliable); all their interesting life stuff is actually in places far away; and they're not showing their distance away from you

I live in a smaller city and the overwhelming majority are real people, problem is I already know most of them and they suck. Just tighten your radius to like 10km and you'll be fine.

When I first got the app I was hammered and thought I had to swipe left to like someone, resulted in a pretty annoying next few days lol

I never got into Tinder. There is a greater number of guys on there who are pushy creeps than other dating apps/sites in my experience.

I wish I could help you with messages but I'm terrible. I think you should just talk about something that interests you, and if they are interested, they will respond. Honestly if the person is interested they will make an effort to come up with a response no matter what you said. I would just start talking about a show I am watching/concert I am interested in going to/any random thing that invites them to share their opinion on the show/musical artist or whatever

I'm not looking for an actual relationship on the app. Like it's more to see if I can make new friends by saying stupid shit with your help. Hence why I'm having everyone here write my messages. It's more for the lolz.
