"Life is always downhill, everyone is heading towards death every day. It's up to you to look for the hills you can climb up instead
Or something
I just made that up but it sounds good" ~alloyus~
i'm glad there's finally someone else besides me who hasn't done the things you're expected to do when you get older
i've always been scared about trying certain things you're expected to do
i never thought i would go to middle school; i thought i would die or something would happen so i would never actually go to middle school; i had a nightmare about going to a classroom in middle school before i ended up going there that it would be really unfamiliar and i wouldn't know any teachers and no one would know me personally
i've always had that fear about a lot of things like seeing a naked person being drawn by people at college (which happened a few years ago) and going to a school dance

Also that triple post is almost as delicious as a hot, fresh, Domino's pizza.
You can't go on dates without money. Without money, you can't drive. Without driving, you can't have a stable job unless you live in an area that has good public transportation. Plus, it makes dates harder without the car. All of these things are great and I encourage you to try unless you have 0% confidence in yourself that it will happen in your life.
If anything, I find a car and job to be the most important. Dating is great (been on too many to remember), but I don't need it to be happy.

The usefulness of a car is entirely dependent on where you live.
I've gone to university in two cities, had multiple career-type jobs and now run my own business, have had plenty of relationships, all while never owning a car.
dominos has never called me for an online order btw you're all stinking liars
The romance in my username is the other meaning. I find the rain romantic, not as in the love type of romantic, but the fascinating type of romantic like from the Romantic Era.

That's not true, you can take public transportation everywhere. It's really useful if you time it well so you know when each bus runs. I live in the valley so there are a lot of bus lines that go to the same place and I can time when to wait for a bus so that I get there quicker. Also public transportation is REALLY inexpensive compared to a car and if you take more than one bus to go somewhere, it transfers for up to two hours without paying any more money as long as you have a bus card, (at least for me).
It would be really useful and fun to have a job but I don't need one right now since I'm going to college and I have financial aid every semester.
Also you can definitely go on dates without having money; you can go to the park, just meet and talk, or bring food from home, (which you do pay for but you would have had the food either way :P). You could also go to the beach, take a walk, and plenty of other things. The only way you would need to pay is if you don't live closeby and you take public transportation to get there, which isn't that much money anyway.

Implying that if you have good public transportation, none of this information is valid to you. Obviously, that's not my case.

You can go on dates without money, but over time that can only take you so far with a person. Especially if you're getting serious.
I'll rephrase myself....

I tried to get a job over the summer a few years ago but I didn't get hired. I still have school so I'd rather focus on school while I have classes. I can try to get a job over the summer again. I don't need a job right now; it would only be for fun and to have more money.

Even if you don't have good public transportation, can't you use Uber or Lyft if you have an iPhone or android, (I'm not sure if you can use it with an android though)? Although I guess Uber is a lot more expensive than buses, trains, or subways.

They are more expensive. Also, I'm not really a huge fan of relying on others for transportation unless I completely have to.
